I want to first start of by saying thank you to Cherie for gift card which helped me purchase this kit along with some other goodies! Now moving on to what you came here for, the review! The kit came with six products to try so I’ll be going over all of them!

First we have the Checks and Balances Frothy Face Wash. It definitely makes my skin feel clean. However the smell is kind of like a spearmint and old person smell? I don’t hate the smell but I wouldn’t choose it for a perfum lol. As far as clearing up my skin I felt it kind of made it worse. Complexion wise it may have evened my skin tone slightly.

The High-Potency Night-A-Mins Cream was nice. The product size is definitely a plus because you get a lot. Like a lot. The first couple of nights I used a little too much because I couldn’t gauge the amount I should be using. When I first put the moisturizer on my skin it felt amazing, however when I woke up it was really dry. And I felt like I needed to wash my face again.

The Clear Improvement Active charcoal mask was the best thing in the kit hands down! I had the most stubborn blackheads on my nose and after one use this is the smoothest my nose has ever been since birth! I also applied it to my forehead and it worked quite a bit there as well. I think I will definitely be purchasing the full size of this one!

The Platscription Anti-Aging Power Serum was okay. I can’t really say much on it because I don’t have any signs of aging. It may help with prevention though so don’t completely rule it out.

The Mega mushroom relief & resilience soothing treatment lotion was a big misconception because it’s more of a toner/liquid consistency. And once again it’s not something to write home about.

The GinZing energy boosting gel moisturizer is alright. It smells amazing as well as being a little moisturizing and again a little goes a long way so you get a lot but thats about it.
Honestly I was pretty disappointed. Origins is supposed to be a high quality skincare brand and I found it subpar. The fact that the kit was valued at $90 for the trial sizes that they were was incompetent to the product pay off in my opinion. Disclaimer I payed $29-39 for it. But still I think in the end I was better off buying the charcoal mask full size and full price, and sticking to my Mario Badescu.
